How much does it cost to get in?

Prices for 2024 are -

Tickets in Advance cost £16 for adults, £7 under 16, Under 5 free and £11 for seniors. Or a family ticket (2 adults, 2 Children) for £40. 

 On the gate prices are Adult £20, Child £10, OAP £15, Family £50.

So buy tickets in advance it is much cheaper

Cars are parked for free.

Advance Tickets available from the website from around 1st August.

Do I have to have advance tickets as the weather may be bad on the day?

Don't worry if the weather looks dodgy and you are not sure if you are coming because you can purchase tickets on the morning of the show. 

And if you are really clever and tech savvy you can purchase tickets on a smart phone from a laybe close to the site.

Is it only tickets in advance?

No- buy tickets from the website from August.

 No need for fumbling around for cash on the day, quicker to get in and park.

 But if you turn up without a ticket we will not turn you away but you will pay extra to enter, and we can only accept cash.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes of course, but please keep them under control.

Terriers are particulary welcome as there is always the terrier racing and usually any dog will be accepted for the racing, so please bring them.

When does it start?
It is open to the public at 9am, some ploughing classes start their competitions at 9.30am other classes start at 10am. But there is plenty to see and do right from the start.
I am not very mobile can I park at the front?
There is forward parking for Blue Badge holders, but remember this is primarily a ploughing match in the countryside on fields that can be rough and wet so do not expect the going to be easy.
When does it finish?
Although most of the competitions end at 2 or 2.30pm, there is still plenty to see and do especially in the main ring. Usually the local foxhound pack is the last into the main ring at about 4pm and then there is prize giving to finish the show.
What happens if it is wet?
The show will go on, but bring wellies. If it is really wet and had to be cancelled then check on our website before coming or on our Facebook page.
What do I get if I join as a member?

Single membership costs £15 and you will get a members badge, an admission ticket and a programme sent a week before the show. On the day you will have forward parking and admission to the members tent for refreshments.

Joint Membership is £30 - 2 Badges, 2 Adult admission tickets, a programme & car pass and of course admission to the members tent.

Family membership costs £35 for two adult tickets, two childrens tickets, two badges, and a programme. On the day forward parking and admission to the members tent.


Or there is Company membership for £35 for 3 Adult tickets, 3 badges, a programme and on the day forward parking and admission to the members tent.
